Joshua vs Ngannou: Tyson Fury, Joshua ignore each other in awkward meeting ahead of Friday fight

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua recently had a tense encounter in Saudi Arabia, where they stood in silence during a group photograph.

The meeting took place ahead of Joshua’s heavyweight showdown with Francis Ngannou on Friday, which Fury already booked ticket to watch.

Despite the anticipation of a potential future clash between the two British heavyweights, Fury and Joshua did not exchange any words during the photo session.

Among those in the photograph are Al Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Ngannou, and Turki Alalshikh.

Trainer Andy Lee, who was present at the meeting, revealed that the two fighters remained silent throughout the interaction.

“They actually never said a word to each other, which was interesting,” he said.

The meeting between the two was notably awkward, considering their history of trading insults on social media.

Despite their longstanding rivalry, an official fight between them has yet to materialize.

Meanwhile, it was also revealed that Fury engaged in a verbal exchange with Ngannou, accusing him of calling him a coward in interviews, but Ngannou denied the claim.
